The operational buttons are located on the side of the sight making this optic ideal for use with EOTech switch-to-side magnifiers. The drop-in replacement Laser Battery Caps (LBC and LBC2) are designed to work with this model as well, increasing your aiming capabilities and speed to target all day and night long.

The EOTech 558.A65 is a rugged, raised base, night vision compatible optic developed to combine the best features of the AA-powered 512 and the quick detach capabilities of the raised base family! Featuring the A65/1 reticle, rugged construction, unlimited eye relief, and utilising parallax free transmission holography, this sight is perfect for shooters wanting CQB speed and versatility, with night vision compatibility. A portion of the front base has been raised to allow the sight to fit over A2 style handguards found on many M4 or M16 style weapons.
The 558 has the controls moved to the left side. This, in combination with the 7mm raised base is designed specifically to work with magnifiers. With the controls mounted to the side, there’s no need to remove or shift the magnifier to activate or change the settings on the HWS! As an added bonus, the 558 is fully compatible with new EOTech Laser Battery Caps!
The A65/1 reticle features a 65MOA circle for fast target aquisition in CQB scenarios with a 1MOA aiming dot for precise shooting to mid ranges.
